LEGENDARY DEFENDER CAPABILITY REIMAGINED

For over seven decades, Defender has challenged what’s possible.

Today, our most capable SUVs are enhanced with electric power. The same ‘go anywhere’ attitude, with improved levels of refinement, responsiveness and performance.

ELECTRIC HYBRID (PHEV)

Our electric hybrid Defender uses a battery powered electric motor with a petrol engine. It can be charged at home or using a wide network of public chargers and can be driven in either fully electric EV mode or Hybrid mode.

MILD HYBRID (MHEV)

Our mild hybrid Defender’s petrol and diesel engines work in harmony with an electric motor. Regenerative braking captures and converts the energy generated when slowing down and braking to optimise battery range without the need to plug in.

The figures provided are as a result of official manufacturer's tests in accordance with EU legislation with a fully charged battery. For comparison purposes only. Real world figures may differ. CO2, fuel economy, energy consumption and range figures may vary according to factors such as driving styles, environmental conditions, load, wheel fitment, accessories fitted, actual route and battery condition. Range figures are based upon production vehicle over a standardised route.

Charging times will vary dependent on many factors, including: the age, condition, temperature and existing charge of the battery; facility used and duration of charge.
